Tuition

Tuition can be paid monthly (10 payments August through May or 12 payments August through July), quarterly, or semi-annually using FACTS Tuition Management.

Returning families will automatically be re-enrolled in FACTS. You will receive a verification letter from the school by April 30 confirming your tuition amount and the details of your payment agreement. New families should enroll in the FACTS Tuition Management program (unless pre-paying) by completing a Tuition Payment Agreement form and returning it to the school office. You will also then receive a verification letter from the school.

A 1% early registration tuition discount is available if registration fees are paid in full before April 1.

A 3% pre-payment tuition discount if tuition is paid in full by August 15. If you plan to pre-pay, you do not need to enroll in FACTS Tuition Management. Payment should be made directly to the school office.

Late tuition payments are assessed a $25 late fee. If tuition is 60 days past due, a phone contact will be made by the Finance Committee that will be followed by a letter that confirms the elements of the conversation. If no tuition is paid within 30 days of this contact by letter, a meeting with the Finance Committee will be requested to discuss the family’s financial circumstances and to determine an arrangement for tuition payments to become current. Families whose tuition is not current at the time of registration for the next school year will not be permitted to register their children for the upcoming school year.

Tuition Assistance

JMS tuition assistance grants are distributed based on your family's need and availability of JMS funds. Financial need is determined through the confidential FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment Program. To apply for a tuition assistance grant, go to www.factstuitionaid.com . After you complete your online application, you will need to mail to FACTS copies of your 2010 W2 and 2010 - 1040 tax return. There is a $25 application fee and the deadline to make application this year is June 15. You will receive notice of the amount of your tuition assistance grant by the end of June.

Activity fee of $40 per student will be added for students in grades 6 – 12 to offset costs for student activities and enrichment classes.
