Grade reports are issued at the end of each nine-week period.  Report cards will not be given out at the end of the quarter until outstanding debts (copy charges, overdue library books, sports uniforms, etc.) are paid or returned.

Conferences between parents and teachers are scheduled at the end of the first grading period.

Percentage grades will be given for core subjects since they give a more accurate representation of a student’s grades to outside institutions.  Letter grades can represent a variety of grading scales which may not truly reflect the student’s abilities when compared to the students from other high schools.  Including grades 6–8 in the grading system will help prepare the middle school students for this grade scale before the grades will be recorded in a transcript and count towards their GPA (grade point average) at graduation.
