Juniata Mennonite School Policy on Suicide Prevention REASON JMS exists to honor Jesus Christ.  One way that we do this is to hold in high esteem human life and the image of its Creator.  Genesis 1: 27 “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God He created him.  Male and female He created them. “ In recognition of the value of all human life from pre-born to the end of our God given days, we believe that while Satan seeks to kill and destroy, Jesus Christ came to give us abundant life.  We are committed to recognizing and preserving the mental, physical, and spiritual life of our students. In order to assist students who may be struggling with the value of their own lives, the following policy will be implemented. The full policy is under construction and will appear after Board approval.
